  • Longtec (oxycodone prolonged-release): a long-acting opioid that provides pain relief over about 12 hours.
  • Oramorph (liquid morphine): a short-acting opioid, often used for “breakthrough” pain that occurs between doses of a long-acting opioid or when rapid pain relief is needed.
